Level Designer 

The level designer is a crucial piece of our game. As a level designer, you are responsible for the main experience of our users. You will own the entirety of content design including delivering top-notch levels. Creating concepts for new gameplay elements, shaping level difficulty and progression all the while using data analysis to tune and perfect your work.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design, deliver, and test level content for our bubble shooter game

  • Use data and player feedback to continuously improve and maintain existing level content

  • Suggest new features, mechanics, and designs to keep introducing thrill for our users 

  • Work closely with other team members - Product, Artists, and developers to ensure the game’s success
     

Required Experience Skills

  • At least 2 years of experience designing puzzle games levels. Bubble shooter is an advantage, match-3/Blast and other sub-genre also work

  • Strong understanding of the gaming industry, specifically puzzle games

  • Strong level design skills as well as theoretical or practical knowledge of level design and core gameplay

  • Solid understanding of game balancing and pacing

  • Ability drive level design through each applicable stage of production: concept, wireframe, prototype, implementation, and refinement through to final sign-off

  • Ability to make data-driven decisions to create and refine the best possible content experience  

  • Experience working within a game production team and/or knowledge of game production best practices

  • Communication in the team includes English, so intermediate level at least
